Atm. I’m currently working on the vignette for a new tv show with the ever popular Filip & Fredrik on channel 5. Deadline’s actually tomorrow and hopefully we’ll get everything done in time. Cant tell you anything more then that the vignette is going to blow your mind ! Maybe not, but it will look really, really nice!

I’ve spent some hours watching videos at vimeo filmed with the RED camera. We use the same camera here at work and I’m always amazed by the images it captures. Just look at some examples here.

This is how TungGung’s next poster looks like. I wanted to bring forth the reggaeness this time.

Here’s the work for Carat and Guldägget that I wrote about a little while ago. I made this 90 second piece at Thelma/Louise and I had about 4 days to finish it. It was pretty hard since I had to come up with a “screenplay” pretty fast and I also had to make some changes that the customer wanted.

Unfortunetly the sound got a little bit out of sync since the last changes was made the night before the deadline.

One of my biggest inspiration-sites is Motionographer.com. MOG is a site where the latest and greatest commercials, spots, musicvideos and pretty much of all the great motionrelated videos is posted every day.

The latest spot for Coke made by Psyop and Weiden+Kennedy Portland is simply beautiful. Watch it here!

Before

After (Effects)

This week it has been very slow at work. We’re not getting as much projects as we need/want so alot of spare time is at hand for us. Meanwhile I’m trying to learn some particle systems in After Effects and my first mission was to create a realistic looking tornado. I’ve actually done much better than I expected and soon you will see the videoresult.

To make this effect I’ve used four different layers of CC particle world. I probably could have done even better with Trapcode Particular but that I can try some other time.

Today I got a email from skank clothing store that said they were having a sale this week. I decided to buy me one of theese. Nice huh?

Last week I got my first own-lead project. It was a small motion package of a campaign that Dist made for svenska spel’s Triss. I simply got all the material they had from the campaign was assinged to put it together in a nice 90 seconds piece, so that they could send it to the jury of Guldägget. It’s a fun project, quite simple but a nice way to make it look however you want. The video will be placed in this post later on.

After discussing back and forth with my collegues at Thelma/Louise we came up with another designidea. Here’s the result:

I know what you’re thinkin’, how is the video going to reflect on th site. Well, we are going to try and make a flashplayer that places the “play/scroll-bar” over the video wich means that half the site is going to be a big flashvideo. If we’ll get it to work it’ll be really cool.

Today I’ve been doing some original designing, instead of doing motion. I was handed the assingment of making the reel-site for thelma/louise. I Started yesterday but I got nowhere. I had a rough time coming up with an idea for the design. I wanted to do something cool and not just a box where the movie was gonna show up. The whole design is made in photoshop altough it has kinnda of a 3D style.

The main idea of the site was this little cool thing.

Whe’re gonna make a small picture of the polaroid and place it on the video in the corner, which will make a cool effect of the polaroid being placed over the video. Cool huh?
